Kate’s been planning events for as long as she can remember. From family functions to group travel for friends, her attention to detail and dedication to creating memorable experiences for those around her has been a passion of hers from the beginning. Kate was born and raised in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, but eventually found herself in Aspen, Colorado, where Gold Leaf Events was born.
Founding Gold Leaf Events in 2013 proved to be one of the most rewarding experiences of her professional career, as Gold Leaf quickly became recognized as a world-class, luxury, event design and coordination firm in Aspen, CO and worldwide. The positive feedback from clients and the industry alike led to the expansion of Gold Leaf’s team on the east coast in 2017. Kate is an extremely dedicated advocate for her clients, someone who finds beauty in natural, untouched settings and a friend who knows no limits in her expression of love. These qualities touch every aspect of the work she produces.

Chelsea Dillon
Chelsea co-founded Gold Leaf Events after being inspired by her time spent in the public relations and event industries. Her passion for the logistics and details is reflected in Gold Leaf’s seamless client experiences and has attributed greatly to creating one of the United States most celebrated event firms.
Chelsea lives in Aspen, surrounded by love from her husband, and their two children while always finding inspiration in the mountainous landscape that she feels lucky to call home. Chelsea’s appreciation for the outdoors and passion for the lifestyle she’s built for herself in Colorado is consistently reflected in her knowledge and dedication to Gold Leaf’s Rocky Mountain weddings and events. If Chelsea is not busy 'crossing every t, and dotting every i’ in the Gold Leaf HQ, you can find her hitting the slopes with her family!
